2026 BURY TO CLARE CHALLENGE RACE REPORT

The iconic 18 mile run/walk in support of St Nicholas Hospice Care from Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds to Clare Castle Country Park in Clare took place on Sunday 17 May 2026.

In sunny conditions, a total of 313 runners and walkers took on the 18 mile point to point route taking in the gently undulating countryside of West Suffolk, through the villages of Hawstead, Whepstead, Somerton and through to Clare.

A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers who gave up their time to make this a smooth running event and massive congratulations to all those who took part.

We're pleased to say we will shortly be making a donation of £1750 to the St Nicholas Hospice Care to help them continue their amazing work - Thanks everyone for your support!
